You can add a <strong>CNAME Record<\/strong> using the cPanel&#8217;s Zone Editor option.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Log in to your cPanel account.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> In the <strong>Domains<\/strong> section, click on <strong>Zone Editor<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"img\/cpanel-dnszone-icon.gif\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Under <strong>Domains<\/strong>, you can see many options below <strong>Actions<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"img\/cpanel-cname-record-domains.gif\" alt=\"\" align=\"none\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Click on <strong>CNAME Record<\/strong>, and a popup box will open. Please, enter the required details in it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Name:<\/strong> Enter the name you wish to add, such as <strong>www<\/strong>, and the cPanel will automatically add a domain name like www.example.com.<br \/>\n<strong>CNAME:<\/strong> Enter the domain name.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"img\/cpanel-cname-record-add-domain.gif\" alt=\"\" align=\"none\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>5.<\/strong> Now, click on <strong>Add a CNAME Record<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If the record is added successfully, you will see a success message.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong> It may take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for the changes to take effect worldwide.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CNAME records are referred to as alias records since they map an alias to its canonical name.
